17:1 โอ ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ขอทรงสดับความฝ่ายยุติธรรม ทรงฟังคำร้องทูลของข้าพระองค์ ขอทรงเงี่ยพระกรรณสดับคำอธิษฐานของข้าพระองค์ ซึ่งมาจากริมฝีปากที่ไม่มีการหลอกลวงของข้าพระองค์
17:1 Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.
17:2 ขอให้การชนะความของข้าพระองค์มาจากพระพักตร์พระองค์ ขอพระเนตรของพระองค์ทรงเห็นสิ่งเที่ยงธรรม
17:2 Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.
17:3 เมื่อพระองค์ทรงลองจิตใจของข้าพระองค์ และเสด็จเยี่ยมเยียนข้าพระองค์ในเวลากลางคืน เมื่อทรงทดสอบข้าพระองค์แล้ว พระองค์จะไม่ทรงพบความชั่วในข้าพระองค์เลย ข้าพระองค์ตั้งใจแล้วว่าปากของข้าพระองค์จะมิได้ละเมิด
17:3 Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
17:4 เกี่ยวด้วยกิจการของมนุษย์ โดยพระวจนะจากพระโอษฐ์ของพระองค์ ข้าพระองค์มิได้ข้องเกี่ยวกับทางแห่งคนทารุณโหดร้าย
17:4 Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.
17:5 ขอให้ย่างเท้าของข้าพระองค์แนบสนิทกับวิถีของพระองค์ เพื่อเท้าของข้าพระองค์มิได้พลาด
17:5 Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.
17:6 โอ ข้าแต่พระเจ้า ข้าพระองค์ร้องทูลถึงพระองค์ เพราะพระองค์จะทรงสดับข้าพระองค์ ขอทรงเอียงพระกรรณสดับถ้อยคำของข้าพระองค์ด้วยเถิด
17:6 I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.
17:7 โอ ข้าแต่พระผู้ช่วยของบรรดาผู้แสวงหาที่ลี้ภัยจากปฏิปักษ์ของเขา ณ พระหัตถ์ขวาของพระองค์ ขอทรงสำแดงความเมตตาอย่างมหัศจรรย์ของพระองค์
17:7 Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.
17:8 ขอทรงรักษาข้าพระองค์ดังแก้วตา ขอทรงซ่อนข้าพระองค์ไว้ภายใต้ร่มปีกของพระองค์
17:8 Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,
17:9 ให้พ้นจากคนชั่วผู้ล้างผลาญและจากศัตรูผู้คอยเข่นฆ่าซึ่งล้อมข้าพระองค์ไว้โดยรอบ
17:9 From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.
17:10 เขาปิดใจของเขาไว้เพราะเหตุความมั่งคั่งของตน ปากของเขาพูดคำหยิ่งยโส
17:10 They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.
17:11 เขาสะกดรอยข้าพระองค์ เดี๋ยวนี้ได้ล้อมข้าพระองค์ไว้ เขาจับตาดูข้าพระองค์เพื่อจะเหวี่ยงข้าพระองค์ลงดิน
17:11 They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;
17:12 เขาเป็นดุจสิงโตที่กระหายเหยื่อของมัน เหมือนดังสิงโตหนุ่มซึ่งซุ่มดักทำร้ายอยู่ในที่ลับ
17:12 Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
17:13 โอ ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ขอทรงลุกขึ้นปะทะเขาไว้ และคว่ำเขาลงเสีย ขอทรงช่วยชีวิตของข้าพระองค์ให้พ้นจากคนชั่วด้วยดาบของพระองค์
17:13 Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:
17:14 โอ ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ขอทรงช่วยข้าพระองค์ให้พ้นจากมนุษย์ผู้ซึ่งเป็นพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์ จากมนุษย์แห่งโลกนี้ จากมนุษย์ผู้ซึ่งมีส่วนของชีวิตนี้ ผู้ซึ่งพระองค์ทรงให้ท้องของเขาเต็มไปด้วยทรัพย์สมบัติที่พระองค์ทรงซ่อนไว้ พวกเขามีลูกหลานอุดมสมบูรณ์ และส่วนที่เหลือเขามอบไว้ให้แก่ลูกอ่อนของเขา
17:14 From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.
17:15 ส่วนข้าพระองค์ ข้าพระองค์จะเห็นพระพักตร์ของพระองค์ในความชอบธรรม เมื่อข้าพระองค์ตื่นขึ้น ข้าพระองค์จะอิ่มเอิบใจด้วยพระลักษณะของพระองค์
17:15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
