10:1 เมื่อพระราชินีแห่งเชบาทรงได้ยินกิตติศัพท์แห่งซาโลมอนเกี่ยวกับพระนามของพระเยโฮวาห์ พระนางก็เสด็จมาทดลองพระองค์ด้วยปัญหายุ่งยากต่างๆ
10:1 And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions.
10:2 พระนางเสด็จมายังกรุงเยรูซาเล็ม พร้อมด้วยข้าราชบริพารมากมาย มีฝูงอูฐบรรทุกเครื่องเทศและทองคำเป็นอันมาก และเพชรพลอยต่างๆ และเมื่อพระนางเสด็จมาถึงซาโลมอนแล้ว พระนางก็ทูลเรื่องในพระทัยต่อพระองค์ทุกประการ
10:2 And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.
10:3 และซาโลมอนตรัสตอบปัญหาของพระนางทั้งสิ้น ไม่มีสิ่งใดที่ซ่อนอยู่พ้นกษัตริย์ซึ่งพระองค์จะทรงอธิบายแก่พระนางไม่ได้
10:3 And Solomon told her all her questions: there was not any thing hid from the king, which he told her not.
10:4 และเมื่อพระราชินีแห่งเชบาทรงเห็นพระสติปัญญาทั้งสิ้นของซาโลมอน และพระราชวังที่พระองค์ทรงสร้าง
10:4 And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon's wisdom, and the house that he had built,
10:5 ทั้งอาหารที่โต๊ะเสวย กับการเข้าเฝ้าของบรรดาข้าราชการ และการปรนนิบัติรับใช้ของมหาดเล็กตลอดทั้งภูษาอาภรณ์ของเขา และพนักงานเชิญถ้วยของพระองค์ และการที่พระองค์เสด็จขึ้นไปในพระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์ พระทัยของพระนางก็สลดลงทีเดียว
10:5 And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.
10:6 พระนางทูลกษัตริย์ว่า "ข่าวคราวซึ่งหม่อมฉันได้ยินในประเทศของหม่อมฉัน ถึงพระราชกิจและพระสติปัญญาของพระองค์เป็นความจริง
10:6 And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom.
10:7 แต่หม่อมฉันมิได้เชื่อถ้อยคำนั้น จนหม่อมฉันมาเฝ้า และตาของหม่อมฉันได้เห็นเอง และดูเถิด ที่เขาบอกแก่หม่อมฉันก็ไม่ถึงครึ่งหนึ่ง พระสติปัญญาและความมั่งคั่งของพระองค์ก็มากยิ่งกว่าข่าวคราวที่หม่อมฉันได้ยิน
10:7 Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.
10:8 บรรดาคนของพระองค์ก็เป็นสุข บรรดาข้าราชการเหล่านี้ของพระองค์ผู้อยู่งานประจำต่อพระพักตร์พระองค์ และฟังพระสติปัญญาของพระองค์ก็เป็นสุข
10:8 Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.
10:9 สาธุการแด่พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของพระองค์ ผู้ทรงพอพระทัยในพระองค์ และทรงแต่งตั้งพระองค์ไว้บนบัลลังก์แห่งอิสราเอล เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงรักอิสราเอลเป็นนิตย์พระองค์จึงทรงแต่งตั้งให้พระองค์เป็นกษัตริย์ เพื่อว่าพระองค์จะทรงอำนวยความยุติธรรมและความเที่ยงธรรม"
10:9 Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.
10:10 แล้วพระนางก็ถวายทองคำหนึ่งร้อยยี่สิบตะลันต์แด่กษัตริย์ ทั้งเครื่องเทศเป็นจำนวนมาก และเพชรพลอยต่างๆ ไม่มีเครื่องเทศมามากมายดังนี้อีก ดังที่พระราชินีแห่งเชบาถวายแด่กษัตริย์ซาโลมอน
10:10 And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very great store, and precious stones: there came no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.
10:11 ยิ่งกว่านั้นอีก กองกำปั่นของฮีรามซึ่งได้นำทองคำมาจากโอฟีร์ ได้นำไม้จันทน์แดงและเพชรพลอยต่างๆจำนวนมากหลายมาจากโอฟีร์
10:11 And the navy also of Hiram, that brought gold from Ophir, brought in from Ophir great plenty of almug trees, and precious stones.
10:12 และกษัตริย์ทรงใช้ไม้จันทน์แดงทำเสาพระนิเวศแห่งพระเยโฮวาห์ และสำหรับพระราชวังของกษัตริย์ และทำพิณเขาคู่และพิณใหญ่สำหรับนักร้อง จนทุกวันนี้ก็ไม่เคยมีไม้จันทน์แดงมาหรือเห็นอย่างนี้อีก
10:12 And the king made of the almug trees pillars for the house of the LORD, and for the king's house, harps also and psalteries for singers: there came no such almug trees, nor were seen unto this day.
10:13 กษัตริย์ซาโลมอนทรงพระราชทานทุกอย่างแก่พระราชินีแห่งเชบา ตามที่พระนางมีพระประสงค์ นอกจากสิ่งที่พระราชทานมาจากความอุดมสมบูรณ์ของกษัตริย์แล้วสิ่งใดๆที่พระนางทูลขอ ซาโลมอนก็พระราชทาน ดังนั้น พระนางก็เสด็จกลับไปยังแผ่นดินของพระนาง พร้อมกับข้าราชการของพระนาง
10:13 And king Solomon gave unto the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside that which Solomon gave her of his royal bounty. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants.
10:14 น้ำหนักของทองคำที่นำมาส่งซาโลมอนในปีหนึ่งนั้นเป็นทองคำหกร้อยหกสิบหกตะลันต์
10:14 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold,
10:15 นอกเหนือจากทองคำซึ่งมาจากพ่อค้า และจากการค้าของพวกพ่อค้า และจากกษัตริย์ทั้งปวงของประเทศอาระเบีย และจากบรรดาเจ้าเมืองแห่งแผ่นดิน
10:15 Beside that he had of the merchantmen, and of the traffic of the spice merchants, and of all the kings of Arabia, and of the governors of the country.
10:16 กษัตริย์ซาโลมอนทรงสร้างโล่ใหญ่สองร้อยอันด้วยทองคำทุบ โล่อันหนึ่งใช้ทองคำหกร้อยเชเขล
10:16 And king Solomon made two hundred targets of beaten gold: six hundred shekels of gold went to one target.
10:17 และพระองค์ทรงสร้างโล่สามร้อยอันด้วยทองคำทุบ โล่อันหนึ่งใช้ทองคำสามมาเน และกษัตริย์ทรงเก็บโล่ไว้ในพระตำหนักพนาเลบานอน
10:17 And he made three hundred shields of beaten gold; three pound of gold went to one shield: and the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.
10:18 กษัตริย์ทรงกระทำพระที่นั่งงาช้างขนาดใหญ่ด้วย และทรงบุด้วยทองคำอย่างงามที่สุด
10:18 Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with the best gold.
10:19 พระที่นั่งนั้นมีบันไดหกขั้น พนักหลังของพระที่นั่งนั้นกลมข้างบน และสองข้างพระที่นั่งมีที่วางพระหัตถ์ มีสิงโตสองตัวยืนอยู่ข้างๆที่วางพระหัตถ์
10:19 The throne had six steps, and the top of the throne was round behind: and there were stays on either side on the place of the seat, and two lions stood beside the stays.
10:20 มีสิงโตอีกสิบสองตัวยืนอยู่ที่นั่นบนหกขั้นบันไดทั้งสองข้าง เขาไม่เคยทำในราชอาณาจักรใดๆเหมือนอย่างนี้
10:20 And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps: there was not the like made in any kingdom.
10:21 ภาชนะทั้งสิ้นสำหรับเครื่องดื่มของกษัตริย์ซาโลมอนทำด้วยทองคำ และภาชนะทั้งสิ้นของพระตำหนักพนาเลบานอนทำด้วยทองคำบริสุทธิ์ ไม่มีที่ทำด้วยเงินเลย เงินนั้นถือว่าเป็นของไม่มีค่าอะไรในสมัยของซาโลมอน
10:21 And all king Solomon's drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold; none were of silver: it was nothing accounted of in the days of Solomon.
10:22 เพราะว่ากษัตริย์มีกองกำปั่นเมืองทารชิช เดินทะเลพร้อมกับกองกำปั่นของฮีราม กองกำปั่นเมืองทารชิชนำทองคำ เงิน งาช้าง ลิง และนกยูงมาสามปีต่อครั้ง
10:22 For the king had at sea a navy of Tharshish with the navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of Tharshish, bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.
10:23 ดังนี้แหละ กษัตริย์ซาโลมอนจึงได้เปรียบกว่าบรรดากษัตริย์อื่นๆแห่งแผ่นดินโลกในเรื่องสมบัติและสติปัญญา
10:23 So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom.
10:24 และทั่วทั้งโลกก็แสวงหาที่จะเข้าเฝ้าซาโลมอน เพื่อจะฟังพระสติปัญญาซึ่งพระเจ้าพระราชทานไว้ในใจของท่าน
10:24 And all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.
10:25 ทุกคนก็นำเครื่องบรรณาการของเขามา เป็นเครื่องทำด้วยเงิน เครื่องทำด้วยทองคำ เครื่องแต่งกาย เครื่องอาวุธ เครื่องเทศ ม้า และล่อ ตามจำนวนกำหนดทุกๆปี
10:25 And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armor, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.
10:26 ซาโลมอนทรงสะสมรถรบและพลม้า พระองค์ทรงมีรถรบหนึ่งพันสี่ร้อยคัน และพลม้าหนึ่งหมื่นสองพันคน ซึ่งพระองค์ทรงให้ประจำอยู่ที่หัวเมืองรถรบ และอยู่กับกษัตริย์ในกรุงเยรูซาเล็ม
10:26 And Solomon gathered together chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he bestowed in the cities for chariots, and with the king at Jerusalem.
10:27 และกษัตริย์ทรงกระทำให้เงินนั้นเป็นของสามัญในกรุงเยรูซาเล็มเหมือนก้อนหิน และทรงกระทำให้มีสนสีดาร์มากมายเหมือนไม้มะเดื่อแห่งหุบเขา
10:27 And the king made silver to be in Jerusalem as stones, and cedars made he to be as the sycamore trees that are in the vale, for abundance.
10:28 ม้าอันเป็นสินค้าเข้าของซาโลมอนมาจากอียิปต์ พร้อมด้วยเส้นด้ายสำหรับผ้าป่าน และบรรดาพ่อค้าของกษัตริย์รับเส้นด้ายสำหรับผ้าป่านนั้นมาตามราคา
10:28 And Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king's merchants received the linen yarn at a price.
10:29 จะนำรถรบคันหนึ่งเข้ามาจากอียิปต์ได้ในราคาหกร้อยเชเขลเงิน ม้าตัวหนึ่งหนึ่งร้อยห้าสิบ ดังนั้นโดยทางพวกพ่อค้าเขาก็ส่งออกไปยังบรรดากษัตริย์ทั้งปวงของคนฮิตไทต์ และบรรดากษัตริย์ของซีเรีย
10:29 And a chariot came up and went out of Egypt for six hundred shekels of silver, and an horse for an hundred and fifty: and so for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, did they bring them out by their means.
