3:1 เพราะเหตุนี้ข้าพเจ้าเปาโล ผู้ที่ถูกจองจำเพราะเห็นแก่พระเยซูคริสต์เพื่อท่านซึ่งเป็นคนต่างชาติ
3:1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
3:2 ถ้าแม้ท่านทั้งหลายได้ยินถึงพระคุณของพระเจ้าอันเป็นพันธกิจ ซึ่งทรงโปรดประทานแก่ข้าพเจ้าเพื่อท่านทั้งหลายแล้ว
3:2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
3:3 และรู้ว่าพระองค์ได้ทรงสำแดงให้ข้าพเจ้ารู้ข้อลึกลับ (ตามที่ข้าพเจ้าได้เขียนไว้แล้วอย่างย่อๆ
3:3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
3:4 และโดยคำเหล่านั้น เมื่อท่านอ่านแล้ว ท่านก็รู้ถึงความเข้าใจของข้าพเจ้าในเรื่องความลึกลับของพระคริสต์)
3:4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
3:5 ซึ่งในสมัยก่อน ไม่ได้ทรงโปรดสำแดงแก่บุตรทั้งหลายของมนุษย์ เหมือนอย่างบัดนี้ซึ่งทรงโปรดเผยแก่พวกอัครสาวกผู้บริสุทธิ์ และพวกศาสดาพยากรณ์ของพระองค์โดยพระวิญญาณ
3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
3:6 คือว่าคนต่างชาติจะเป็นผู้รับมรดกร่วมกัน และเป็นอวัยวะของกายอันเดียวกัน และมีส่วนได้รับพระสัญญาของพระองค์ในพระคริสต์โดยข่าวประเสริฐนั้น
3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
3:7 ข้าพเจ้าได้รับการแต่งตั้งให้เป็นผู้รับใช้แห่งข่าวประเสริฐ ตามพระคุณซึ่งเป็นของประทานจากพระเจ้า ซึ่งทรงโปรดประทานแก่ข้าพเจ้าโดยการกระทำแห่งฤทธิ์เดชของพระองค์
3:7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
3:8 ทรงโปรดประทานพระคุณนี้แก่ข้าพเจ้า ผู้เป็นคนเล็กน้อยกว่าคนเล็กน้อยที่สุดในพวกวิสุทธิชนทั้งหมด ทรงให้ข้าพเจ้าประกาศแก่คนต่างชาติถึงความไพบูลย์ของพระคริสต์ อันหาที่สุดมิได้
3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
3:9 และทำให้คนทั้งปวงเห็นว่า อะไรคือความเป็นอันหนึ่งอันเดียวกันแห่งความลึกลับ ซึ่งตั้งแต่แรกสร้างโลกทรงปิดบังไว้ที่พระเจ้า ผู้ทรงสร้างสารพัดทั้งปวงโดยพระเยซูคริสต์
3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
3:10 ประสงค์จะให้เทพผู้ปกครองและศักดิเทพในสวรรคสถานรู้จักปัญญาอันซับซ้อนของพระเจ้าทางคริสตจักร ณ บัดนี้
3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
3:11 ทั้งนี้ก็เป็นไปตามพระประสงค์นิรันดร์ ซึ่งพระองค์ได้ทรงตั้งไว้ในพระเยซูคริสต์องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเรา
3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
3:12 ในพระองค์นั้น เราจึงมีใจกล้า และมีโอกาสที่จะเข้าไปถึงพระองค์ด้วยความมั่นใจเพราะความเชื่อในพระองค์
3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
3:13 เหตุฉะนั้นข้าพเจ้าจึงขอร้องท่านว่า อย่าท้อถอย เพราะความยากลำบากของข้าพเจ้าเพราะเห็นแก่ท่านซึ่งเป็นสง่าราศีของท่านเอง
3:13 Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
3:14 เพราะเหตุนี้ ข้าพเจ้าจึงคุกเข่าต่อพระบิดาของพระเยซูคริสต์องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเรา
3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
3:15 ครอบครัวทั้งหมดในสวรรค์และแผ่นดินโลกก็ได้ชื่อมาจากพระองค์
3:15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
3:16 ขอให้พระองค์ทรงโปรดประทานกำลังเรี่ยวแรงมากฝ่ายจิตใจแก่ท่าน โดยเดชพระวิญญาณของพระองค์ตามความไพบูลย์แห่งสง่าราศีของพระองค์
3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
3:17 เพื่อพระคริสต์จะทรงสถิตในใจของท่านโดยความเชื่อ เพื่อว่า เมื่อทรงวางรากฐานท่านไว้อย่างมั่นคงในความรักแล้ว
3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
3:18 ท่านก็จะหยั่งรู้ได้ว่าอะไรคือความกว้าง ความยาว ความลึก และความสูงพร้อมกับบรรดาวิสุทธิชนทั้งปวง
3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
3:19 และให้เข้าใจถึงความรักของพระคริสต์ซึ่งเกินความรู้ เพื่อท่านจะได้รับความไพบูลย์ของพระเจ้าอย่างเต็มเปี่ยม
3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
3:20 บัดนี้ ขอให้พระเกียรติจงมีแด่พระองค์ผู้ทรงฤทธิ์สามารถกระทำสารพัดมากยิ่งกว่าที่เราจะทูลขอหรือคิดได้ ตามฤทธิ์เดชที่ประกอบกิจอยู่ภายในตัวเรา
3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
3:21 ขอให้พระเกียรติจงมีแด่พระองค์ในคริสตจักร โดยพระเยซูคริสต์ตลอดทุกชั่วอายุคนเป็นนิตย์ เอเมน
3:21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
