36:1 หัวหน้าครอบครัวคนกิเลอาด บุตรชายของมาคีร์ ผู้เป็นบุตรชายของมนัสเสห์ ครอบครัวต่างๆของบุตรชายโยเซฟ เข้ามาใกล้และพูดต่อหน้าโมเสสและต่อหน้าประมุข คือบรรดาหัวหน้าคนอิสราเอล
36:1 And the chief fathers of the families of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spake before Moses, and before the princes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel:
36:2 เขาพูดว่า "พระเยโฮวาห์ได้บัญชาเจ้านายของข้าพเจ้าให้จับสลากยกแผ่นดินให้เป็นมรดกแก่คนอิสราเอล และเจ้านายของข้าพเจ้าได้รับบัญชาจากพระเยโฮวาห์ให้ยกมรดกของเศโลเฟหัดพี่น้องของเราแก่บุตรสาวของเขา
36:2 And they said, The LORD commanded my lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel: and my lord was commanded by the LORD to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother unto his daughters.
36:3 ถ้าเธอทั้งหลายแต่งงานกับบุตรชายทั้งหลายของคนอิสราเอลตระกูลอื่นแล้ว ส่วนมรดกของบรรพบุรุษของเราจะเพิ่มให้กับมรดกของคนตระกูลที่เธอไปอยู่ด้วย เพราะฉะนั้นจึงเป็นการที่นำมรดกไปจากส่วนที่เป็นของเรา
36:3 And if they be married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then shall their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our fathers, and shall be put to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall it be taken from the lot of our inheritance.
36:4 และเมื่อถึงปีเสียงแตรของคนอิสราเอล มรดกที่เป็นส่วนของเธอก็จะถูกยกไปเพิ่มเข้ากับส่วนของตระกูลที่เธอไปอยู่ด้วย จึงเป็นการที่นำส่วนมรดกของเธอไปจากส่วนมรดกของตระกูลบิดาของเรา"
36:4 And when the jubilee of the children of Israel shall be, then shall their inheritance be put unto the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.
36:5 และโมเสสบัญชาคนอิสราเอลตามพระดำรัสของพระเยโฮวาห์ว่า "ตระกูลคนโยเซฟพูดถูกต้องแล้ว
36:5 And Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the word of the LORD, saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph hath said well.
36:6 นี่คือสิ่งที่พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงบัญชาเกี่ยวกับบุตรสาวของเศโลเฟหัด ซึ่งว่า `จงให้เธอแต่งงานกับใครที่เธอพอใจ แต่เธอต้องแต่งงานกับคนภายในครอบครัวตระกูลบิดาของเธอ
36:6 This is the thing which the LORD doth command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry to whom they think best; only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they marry.
36:7 ดังนี้แหละส่วนมรดกของคนอิสราเอลจะไม่ถูกโยกย้ายจากตระกูลหนึ่งไปให้อีกตระกูลหนึ่ง คนอิสราเอลทุกคนต้องอยู่ในที่มรดกแห่งตระกูลบรรพบุรุษของตน
36:7 So shall not the inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe to tribe: for every one of the children of Israel shall keep himself to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
36:8 และบุตรสาวทุกคนผู้รับกรรมสิทธิ์มรดกในตระกูลคนอิสราเอลตระกูลใด ให้เป็นภรรยาของคนใดคนหนึ่งในครอบครัวในตระกูลบิดาของตน เพื่อคนอิสราเอลทุกคนจะถือกรรมสิทธิ์มรดกของบิดาของเขา
36:8 And every daughter, that possesseth an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel, shall be wife unto one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may enjoy every man the inheritance of his fathers.
36:9 ดังนั้นจะไม่มีมรดกที่ถูกโยกย้ายจากตระกูลหนึ่งไปยังอีกตระกูลหนึ่ง เพราะว่าคนอิสราเอลแต่ละตระกูลควรคงอยู่ในที่มรดกของตน'"
36:9 Neither shall the inheritance remove from one tribe to another tribe; but every one of the tribes of the children of Israel shall keep himself to his own inheritance.
36:10 พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงบัญชาโมเสสอย่างไร บุตรสาวทั้งหลายของเศโลเฟหัดก็กระทำอย่างนั้น
36:10 Even as the LORD commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad:
36:11 เพราะว่ามาลาห์ ทีรซาห์ โฮกลาห์ มิลคาห์ และโนอาห์ บุตรสาวของเศโลเฟหัด ได้แต่งงานกับบุตรชายทั้งหลายของพี่น้องแห่งบิดาของตน
36:11 For Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married unto their father's brothers' sons:
36:12 เธอได้แต่งงานกับครอบครัวคนมนัสเสห์บุตรชายของโยเซฟ และส่วนมรดกของเธอก็คงอยู่ในตระกูลแห่งครอบครัวบิดาของเธอ
36:12 And they were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.
36:13 ข้อความเหล่านี้เป็นบทบัญญัติและคำตัดสินซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์ได้ทรงบัญชาทางโมเสสแก่คนอิสราเอล ณ ที่ราบโมอับ ริมแม่น้ำจอร์แดนใกล้เมืองเยรีโค
36:13 These are the commandments and the judgments, which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses unto the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
