36:1 ประชาชนแห่งแผ่นดินได้ตั้งเยโฮอาหาสโอรสของโยสิยาห์ และให้พระองค์เป็นกษัตริย์แทนราชบิดาของพระองค์ในเยรูซาเล็ม
36:1 Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father's stead in Jerusalem.
36:2 เมื่อเยโฮอาหาสเริ่มครอบครองมีพระชนมายุยี่สิบสามพรรษา และพระองค์ทรงครอบครองในเยรูซาเล็มสามเดือน
36:2 Jehoahaz was twenty and three years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem.
36:3 แล้วกษัตริย์แห่งอียิปต์ทรงถอดพระองค์ในเยรูซาเล็ม และกำหนดให้แผ่นดินนั้นถวายบรรณาการเป็นเงินหนึ่งร้อยตะลันต์ และทองคำหนึ่งตะลันต์
36:3 And the king of Egypt put him down at Jerusalem, and condemned the land in an hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
36:4 และกษัตริย์แห่งอียิปต์ตั้งให้เอลียาคิมพระอนุชาของพระองค์เป็นกษัตริย์เหนือยูดาห์และเยรูซาเล็ม และทรงเปลี่ยนพระนามของพระองค์ใหม่ว่า เยโฮยาคิม แต่เนโคทรงจับเยโฮอาหาสพระเชษฐานำไปยังอียิปต์
36:4 And the king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and turned his name to Jehoiakim. And Necho took Jehoahaz his brother, and carried him to Egypt.
36:5 เมื่อเยโฮยาคิมเริ่มครองราชย์นั้นทรงมีพระชนมายุยี่สิบห้าพรรษา และพระองค์ทรงครองราชย์ในเยรูซาเล็มสิบเอ็ดปี พระองค์ทรงกระทำความชั่วร้ายในสายพระเนตรของพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของพระองค์
36:5 Jehoiakim was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD his God.
36:6 เนบูคัดเนสซาร์กษัตริย์แห่งบาบิโลนเสด็จขึ้นมาต่อสู้กับพระองค์ และจองจำพระองค์ด้วยตรวนเพื่อพาพระองค์ไปยังบาบิโลน
36:6 Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon.
36:7 เนบูคัดเนสซาร์ทรงนำเครื่องใช้ส่วนหนึ่งของพระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์ไปยังบาบิโลน และทรงเก็บไว้ในวิหารของพระองค์ในบาบิโลน
36:7 Nebuchadnezzar also carried of the vessels of the house of the LORD to Babylon, and put them in his temple at Babylon.
36:8 ส่วนพระราชกิจนอกนั้นของเยโฮยาคิม และการอันน่าสะอิดสะเอียนซึ่งพระองค์ทรงกระทำ และเหตุการณ์อื่นๆซึ่งเกี่ยวกับพระองค์ ดูเถิด สิ่งเหล่านี้ก็ถูกบันทึกไว้ในหนังสือของกษัตริย์แห่งอิสราเอลและยูดาห์ และเยโฮยาคีนโอรสของพระองค์ได้ครองราชย์แทนพระองค์
36:8 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and his abominations which he did, and that which was found in him, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.
36:9 เมื่อเยโฮยาคีนเริ่มครองราชย์นั้นทรงมีพระชนมายุสิบแปดพรรษา และพระองค์ทรงครองราชย์ในเยรูซาเล็มสามเดือนกับสิบวัน พระองค์ทรงกระทำความชั่วร้ายในสายพระเนตรของพระเยโฮวาห์
36:9 Jehoiachin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
36:10 พอถึงสิ้นปีแล้วกษัตริย์เนบูคัดเนสซาร์ทรงใช้ให้นำพระองค์มายังบาบิโลน พร้อมกับเครื่องใช้ประเสริฐแห่งพระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์ และตั้งให้เศเดคียาห์ปิตุลาของพระองค์เป็นกษัตริย์เหนือยูดาห์และเยรูซาเล็ม
36:10 And when the year was expired, king Nebuchadnezzar sent, and brought him to Babylon, with the goodly vessels of the house of the LORD, and made Zedekiah his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem.
36:11 เมื่อเศเดคียาห์เริ่มครอบครองมีพระชนมายุยี่สิบเอ็ดพรรษา และพระองค์ทรงครอบครองในเยรูซาเล็มสิบเอ็ดปี
36:11 Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned eleven years in Jerusalem.
36:12 พระองค์ทรงกระทำความชั่วร้ายในสายพระเนตรของพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของพระองค์ พระองค์มิได้ถ่อมพระองค์ลงต่อหน้าเยเรมีย์ผู้พยากรณ์ ผู้กล่าวจากพระโอษฐ์ของพระเยโฮวาห์
36:12 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD his God, and humbled not himself before Jeremiah the prophet speaking from the mouth of the LORD.
36:13 พระองค์ทรงกบฏเช่นกันต่อกษัตริย์เนบูคัดเนสซาร์ ผู้ซึ่งทรงให้พระองค์ปฏิญาณในพระนามของพระเจ้า พระองค์ทรงแข็งพระศอของพระองค์ ทำพระทัยให้กระด้าง ไม่หันไปหาพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าแห่งอิสราเอล
36:13 And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto the LORD God of Israel.
36:14 ยิ่งกว่านั้นบรรดาปุโรหิตใหญ่และประชาชนก็ทำการละเมิดอย่างยิ่งโดยการติดตามบรรดาสิ่งที่น่าสะอิดสะเอียนของประชาชาติ และเขาทั้งหลายกระทำให้พระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์ซึ่งพระองค์ทรงชำระให้บริสุทธิ์ในเยรูซาเล็มนั้นเป็นมลทินไป
36:14 Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.
36:15 พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าแห่งบรรพบุรุษของเขาทรงใช้ให้ทูตของพระองค์มาอย่างไม่หยุดยั้ง เพราะพระองค์ทรงมีพระทัยกรุณาต่อประชาชนของพระองค์และต่อที่ประทับของพระองค์
36:15 And the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place:
36:16 แต่เขาทั้งหลายเยาะเย้ยทูตของพระเจ้า และดูหมิ่นพระวจนะของพระองค์ และด่าผู้พยากรณ์ของพระองค์ จนพระพิโรธของพระเยโฮวาห์พลุ่งขึ้นต่อประชาชนของพระองค์จนแก้ไม่ไหว
36:16 But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy.
36:17 พระองค์จึงทรงนำกษัตริย์แห่งคนเคลเดียมาต่อสู้เขาทั้งหลาย ผู้ซึ่งฆ่าชายหนุ่มของเขาด้วยดาบในพระนิเวศอันเป็นสถานบริสุทธิ์ของเขา และไม่มีความกรุณาแก่ชายหนุ่มหรือหญิงพรหมจารี คนแก่หรือคนชรา พระองค์ทรงมอบทั้งหมดไว้ในมือของเขา
36:17 Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave them all into his hand.
36:18 และเครื่องใช้ทั้งสิ้นของพระนิเวศของพระเจ้า ทั้งใหญ่และเล็ก และทรัพย์สมบัติแห่งพระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์ และทรัพย์สมบัติแห่งกษัตริย์และแห่งเจ้านายของพระองค์ สิ่งทั้งหมดนี้พระองค์ทรงนำมายังบาบิโลน
36:18 And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all these he brought to Babylon.
36:19 และเขาเผาพระนิเวศของพระเจ้า และพังกำแพงเยรูซาเล็มลง และเอาไฟเผาวังของเมืองนั้นเสียสิ้น และทำลายเครื่องใช้ประเสริฐทั้งปวงในนั้น
36:19 And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.
36:20 และบรรดาผู้ที่รอดจากดาบนั้นพระองค์ทรงให้กวาดไปเป็นเชลยยังบาบิโลน และเขาทั้งหลายเป็นผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์และแก่ราชวงศ์ของพระองค์ จนถึงการสถาปนาราชอาณาจักรเปอร์เซีย
36:20 And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:
36:21 เพื่อให้สำเร็จตามพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์ผ่านปากของเยเรมีย์ จนกว่าแผ่นดินจะได้ชื่นชมกับปีสะบาโตของมัน เพราะตราบเท่าที่มันยังว่างเปล่าอยู่ มันก็รักษาสะบาโต เพื่อจะให้ครบตามกำหนดเจ็ดสิบปี
36:21 To fulfil the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.
36:22 ในปีแรกแห่งรัชกาลไซรัสกษัตริย์ของเปอร์เซีย เพื่อพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์ทางปากของเยเรมีย์จะสำเร็จ พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงรบเร้าจิตใจของไซรัสกษัตริย์ของเปอร์เซีย กษัตริย์จึงทรงมีประกาศตลอดราชอาณาจักรของพระองค์ และบันทึกเป็นลายลักษณ์อักษรลงด้วยว่า
36:22 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
36:23 "ไซรัสกษัตริย์แห่งเปอร์เซียตรัสดังนี้ว่า `พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของฟ้าสวรรค์ได้พระราชทานบรรดาราชอาณาจักรแห่งแผ่นดินโลกแก่เรา และพระองค์ทรงกำชับให้เราสร้างพระนิเวศให้พระองค์ที่เยรูซาเล็ม ซึ่งอยู่ในยูดาห์ มีผู้ใดในท่ามกลางท่านทั้งหลายที่เป็นประชาชนของพระองค์ ขอพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของเขาสถิตกับเขา ขอให้เขาขึ้นไปเถิด'"
36:23 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? The LORD his God be with him, and let him go up.
