132:1 ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ขอทรงระลึกถึงดาวิดและความลำบากยากเข็ญทั้งสิ้นของท่าน
132:1 Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:
132:2 ว่า ท่านได้ปฏิญาณต่อพระเยโฮวาห์อย่างไร และได้ปฏิญาณตัวไว้ต่อองค์ผู้ทรงมหิทธิฤทธิ์ของยาโคบว่า
132:2 How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;
132:3 "แน่นอนข้าพระองค์จะไม่เข้าตัวบ้านหรือขึ้นไปนอนบนที่นอนของตน
132:3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
132:4 ข้าพระองค์จะไม่ให้นัยน์ตาของข้าพระองค์หลับ หรือให้หนังตาเคลิ้มไป
132:4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
132:5 จนกว่าข้าพระองค์จะหาสถานที่สำหรับพระเยโฮวาห์ได้ คือที่ประทับของพระเจ้าผู้ทรงมหิทธิฤทธิ์ของยาโคบ"
132:5 Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
132:6 ดูเถิด เราได้ยินเรื่องนี้ในเอฟราธาห์ เราได้พบสิ่งนี้ในนาของป่าไม้
132:6 Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.
132:7 "เราจะไปยังที่ประทับของพระองค์ เราจะนมัสการที่รองพระบาทของพระองค์"
132:7 We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.
132:8 โอ ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ขอทรงลุกขึ้นเสด็จไปยังที่พำนักของพระองค์ ทั้งพระองค์และหีบแห่งอานุภาพของพระองค์
132:8 Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.
132:9 ขอปุโรหิตของพระองค์สวมความชอบธรรม และให้วิสุทธิชนของพระองค์โห่ร้องด้วยความชื่นบาน
132:9 Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.
132:10 เพราะเห็นแก่ดาวิดผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์ ขออย่าทรงเมินพระพักตร์หนีจากผู้ที่พระองค์ทรงเจิมไว้นั้น
132:10 For thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.
132:11 พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงปฏิญาณเป็นความจริงกับดาวิด ซึ่งพระองค์จะไม่ทรงหันกลับคือว่า "เราจะตั้งผลจากตัวของเจ้าไว้บนบัลลังก์ของเจ้า
132:11 The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
132:12 ถ้าบรรดาบุตรของเจ้ารักษาพันธสัญญาของเรา และบรรดาพระโอวาทของเราซึ่งเราจะสอนเขา เหล่าบุตรของเขาทั้งหลายด้วยเช่นกันจะนั่งบนบัลลังก์ของเจ้าเป็นนิตย์"
132:12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.
132:13 เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงเลือกศิโยน พระองค์มีพระประสงค์จะให้เป็นที่ประทับของพระองค์
132:13 For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
132:14 ตรัสว่า "นี่เป็นที่พำนักของเราเป็นนิตย์ เราจะอยู่ที่นี่ เพราะปรารถนาเช่นนั้น
132:14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
132:15 เราจะอำนวยพรอย่างมากมายแก่เสบียงของเมืองนี้ เราจะให้คนจนของเมืองนี้อิ่มด้วยขนมปัง
132:15 I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
132:16 เราจะเอาความรอดห่มปุโรหิตของเมืองนั้น และวิสุทธิชนของเมืองนั้นจะโห่ร้องด้วยความชื่นบาน
132:16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
132:17 ณ ที่นั้นเราจะกระทำให้มีเขาหนึ่งงอกขึ้นมาสำหรับดาวิด เราได้เตรียมประทีปดวงหนึ่งสำหรับผู้รับเจิมของเรา
132:17 There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
132:18 เราจะเอาความอายห่มศัตรูของท่าน แต่มงกุฎของท่านจะแวววาวอยู่บนท่าน"
132:18 His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
