2:1 เหตุใดชนต่างชาติจึงกระทำโกลาหลขึ้น และชนชาติทั้งหลายคิดอ่านในการที่ไร้ประโยชน์
2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2:2 บรรดากษัตริย์แห่งแผ่นดินโลกตั้งตนเองขึ้น และนักปกครองปรึกษากันต่อสู้พระเยโฮวาห์และผู้รับการเจิมของพระองค์ กล่าวว่า
2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
2:3 "ให้เราระเบิดสายแอกของเขาให้ขาดสะบั้น และขจัดบังเหียนของเขาให้พ้นจากเรา"
2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
2:4 พระองค์ผู้ประทับในสวรรค์จะทรงพระสรวล องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าจะทรงเย้ยหยันเขาเหล่านั้น
2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.
2:5 แล้วพระองค์จะตรัสกับเขาทั้งหลายด้วยพระพิโรธ และกระทำให้เขาสยดสยองด้วยความกริ้วของพระองค์ ตรัสว่า
2:5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
2:6 "เราได้ตั้งกษัตริย์ของเราไว้แล้วบนศิโยน ภูเขาอันบริสุทธิ์ของเรา"
2:6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
2:7 ข้าพเจ้าจะประกาศพระดำรัสของพระองค์ พระเยโฮวาห์รับสั่งกับข้าพเจ้าว่า "เจ้าเป็นบุตรของเรา วันนี้เราได้ให้กำเนิดแก่เจ้าแล้ว
2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
2:8 จงขอจากเราเถิด และเราจะมอบบรรดาประชาชาติให้เป็นมรดกของเจ้า ตลอดทั้งแผ่นดินโลกให้เป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ของเจ้า
2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
2:9 เจ้าจะตีเขาให้แตกด้วยคทาเหล็ก และฟาดให้แหลกเป็นชิ้นๆดุจภาชนะของช่างหม้อ"
2:9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
2:10 เพราะฉะนั้นบัดนี้ โอ ข้าแต่กษัตริย์ทั้งหลาย จงฉลาดเถิด ข้าแต่นักปกครองแห่งแผ่นดินโลก จงรับคำเตือนเถิด
2:10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
2:11 จงปรนนิบัติพระเยโฮวาห์ด้วยความยำเกรง และจงเกษมเปรมปรีดิ์ด้วยตัวสั่น
2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
2:12 จงจุบพระบุตรเถิดเกลือกว่าพระองค์จะทรงพระพิโรธ และเจ้าต้องพินาศจากทางนั้น เมื่อพระพิโรธของพระองค์นั้นจุดให้ลุกแต่น้อย ความสุขเป็นของคนทั้งหลายผู้วางใจในพระองค์
2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
